  1. That is really cool how engaged physicians may give a hospital three percent more outpatient referrals and 51% more inpatient referrals. That sounds like it would be really important to a hospital. If I were a hospital I would want to hire physicians who would engage themselves.

  2. It’s interesting that physician engagement can result in physicians that are proud, loyal, and committed to an organization’s mission. My sister is looking for a way to be more engaged with her physician and his practice. I’ll pass this information along to her so that she can see if it’s an option for her.
